Worker E, Who Was Not Allowed To Know

Then came Worker E.

E was the blind machine coder.

Blindness here did not mean ignorance of the task.

It meant protection from contamination.

Human codes were withheld.

Human rationales were withheld.

Aggregate findings were withheld.

Desired outcomes were withheld.

E had to look at the evidence and produce its own pass.

That independence mattered because agreement means little when one coder can see the other's answers.

And yet even the blind Worker was not sacred.

When source-completeness problems required repair, E's pass was repaired narrowly, not opportunistically rewritten. The authoritative frozen version became v3. The record explicitly celebrates the preservation of the blind pass rather than retroactively beautifying it.

This is another recurring theme:

when a defect is found, repair the defect.

Do not use the defect as permission to remake history.

The final machine codes therefore came from a Worker that was independent where independence mattered, corrected where correction was justified, and frozen when the repair was complete.
